Coach Slava Fattakhov has spent the majority of his swimming career coaching athletes and casual swimmers alike. He is now offering his services to all swimmers! Slava coaches all levels of swimmers, from those looking to improve their technique to those looking to dive into competitive swimming.

His swimming lessons are available in all formats - whether it be in-person or online, and emphasize the importance of comfort. While Slava mostly teaches within specific regions of the Miami Dade area, he can travel to any pool within his reach to ensure that new and old swimmers can practice in a familiar location.

Meet Coach Slava Fattakhov, an award-winning member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and a six-year coach for USA Swimming. Slava’s swimming career began early in his life, and he plans to use his knowledge to aid beginning and advanced swimmers.

Life During College

Slava received a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with Public Relations, Advertising, and Sports Communication Concentration, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Bridgeport in 2014.

During his time as a student, Slava participated in NCAA as a student-athlete and became the captain of the University of Bridgeport's men’s swim team.

As a student, he received the Swimming Scholarship from the University of Bridgeport, which is awarded to an individual based on their athletic ability. In 2013 and 2014, he received the NCAA Division II Scholar All-American Honoree award, which is presented to university swimmers who have participated in their respective swimming championships while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. He continued to prove his skill and technique by breaking several NCAA and USA Swimming Pool records during his career as a student-athlete.
